Super austenitic stainless steel
When the PREN of chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel is measured at a rate lager than 40%, it can be called the super austenitic stainless steel. The super-austenitic stainless steel is mainly developed for the solution of the deficiency of the original high molybdenum (> 4%) chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steel when containing CI-, such as pitting corrosion resistance, crevice corrosion resistance and tissue thermal stability under the harsh corrosion conditions.
Ferritic stainless steel
Ferritic stainless steel is a kind of stainless steel with body centered cubic structure. Its carbon content is less than 0.02%, and the chromium content is between 10.5% ~32%. It is ferritic tissue both at high temperature and room temperature. It is also a kind of stainless steel that cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. This stainless steel has wide application range and excellent comprehensive performance.
Martensitic stainless steel
The mechanical properties of martensitic stainless steel can be adjusted by heat treatment. It is a kind of harden-able stainless steel. Typical brands are Cr13, such as 2Cr13,3Cr13,4Cr13, etc. It has high hardness after quenching, and with different tempering temperatures, it can have different strong-toughness combination. It is mainly used in steam turbine blade, tableware, surgical operating instrument.
